SUMMER HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM 2012
FUA is offering a unique opportunity for high school students to participate in its cultural and academic offering through the 2012 Summer High School program.
Students may select from an exciting range of courses and participate in week-long cultural explorations of Rome, the Tuscan region and the city of Florence. Supervised afternoon activities, such as sports and cultural activities, promote the discovery of Florence in an exciting and innovated way! Courses are designed to prepare students for college entrance and the transfer of credits in a wide variety of subjects.
Palazzi Summer High School program 2012 course offerings include:
- Food, Culture and Society
- Fashion Design
- Introduction to Digital Photography
- Florence Sketchbook Italian Language
- Introduction to Art History - From the Romanesque to Mannerism.
- The Italian Soccer Experience
Along with the academic offerings, students in the Palazzi Summer High School Program will benefit from the guidance of live-in Resident Assistants for counseling and assistance, organized field trips, and afternoon extracurricular activities such as sports and discovering Florence, as well as special culinary activities, all developed to enhance the student's experience of the Italian cultural in a distinctly memorable way.
