5-Week Summer Publishing Program

Summer 2012 session dates: June 10 to July 14, 2012

 

This 12 credit program is a brief, intense foray into the world of travel books and publishing. Our five week Publishing program offers students a full-emersion opportunity to experience first hand the beauty of Sicily and Florence as well as become part of a research team that will create a professional book to be published by Palazzi University Press Ingorda for Florence Campus Publishing.

 

Students will will focus the first two weeks of the program on Travel Research on location in special destinations across the eastern coast of Sicily. Subsequently students will continue their studies through three weeks of Post travel/Production sessions in Florence to the complete production of a travel book. This unique experience will give students insight into their own identity through explorations into different cultures, but will also gain hand-on knowledge of Publishing.
